I have a picky teenager who LOVED this place! My husband and I also loved it! Our server was great too! I don’t remember his name but he was a tall young man and always made sure we had everything we needed! I 100% recommend this place! We are planning on driving the hour it takes us from our house in the future!
All the food was so good and the server was really nice and was very attentive to our table of 8. Fajita mini tacos were especially yummy. Crispy taco was really really crunchy, it was good, just heads up. Large queso dip was HUGE (we couldn’t even finish half of it).
We came right before the lunch crowd on a Saturday. And my plate and drink was awesome. #33 light plate and margaritas on the rocks...feeling good.
Perhaps the best tortilla soup I have ever had. I ordered a small and it was HUGE! Mini tacos were good as well. Service was quick and attentive. If you are passing through Hillsboro, eat here. You will be happy. Edit: went back today. Just had to have the soup two days in a row
I thought it was great. My wife didn't care for her fajitas, but she's more of a Tex Mex fan than true Mexican cuisine. These guys lean a little more into Mexican style.
The food was expensive. More expensive than the area justifies. But food is going up everywhere. The food was good but not unique. The guacamole was liquid and extremely hot. The salsa reminded me of something from a can, but otherwise tasted good. The chips were plain. The enchiladas were good, but there was no sauce in the chicken, and the cheese sauce on top tasted like it was from a can. My wife's fajitas were not sizzling. Her tortillas were steamed, not seared, which was a disappointment for her. My wife's margarita was from a mix and was way too sweet, she said. All told it was an expensive but average experience. We will go back but only with the reminder of the 85 cost for two people. Including the tip because the waitress was nice and clearly from south of the border.
I dropped in here and noticed it was packed nearly full. Despite the crowd, our server got to us quickly, was attentive with our order and our drinks. I ordered the mixed fajitas and my companion ordered the soft tacos. The food came out quickly and was nice and hot. I noticed a drinks menu and may come back to try a few of them on a day when I'm not driving.
Traveling from Austin to Dallas, I stopped by for an early lunch. Very good. Typical TexMex type restaurant with a great selection of both breakfast and lunch entres. Bathrooms very clean! Absolutely would eat here again!
